Dear Family in Christ,
We so value your prayers that continue to keep us. Our last update a couple weeks ago didn’t have anything about our little gang, so this will fill you in a bit. Our trip to San Diego was all too short, now I am back in the sweltering heat with the air conditioner on and off, greatly missing the beach!! :))
This week we have been immersed in catching up and managing things back home–especially with our girls and some staff issues we are having. Our family is now there in the mountains to resolve these things, to pray and give encouragement. Thank you for praying for this. Praise God for Paul’s oldest brother, Xavier and his wife who have been so committed this great undertaking, working hours daily on the paper work and on managing the home and making sure our girls are safe and cared for properly in our absence. Paul’s parents are also there (they speak only Tamil, so they will struggle as the staff is from north India). They will provide a spiritual atmosphere which is always needed.
I’m listening to this today…enjoy!
This one’s for the kids. Baby loves “singing” this song with us
At 15 months Isaiah was able to unbuckle his car seats. Paul was driving, so I was able to get proof!
Our babies in 2006
My older friends have all seen this photo of our girls, but I just wanted to send it to newer ones –who are now thriving 6 year olds!! Enjoying going to school and other benefits that Paul himself did not have when he was 6…like shoes, uniforms, lunch-boxes with healthy food inside! God is amazing. Little did I realize in this photo Paul would be my husband–OR that these girls we separately adored would be ours to care for. I can’t wait to show them these photos–how we’ve loved them since the beginning. Oh, Lord, grant us wisdom as we are before YOUR face, with these precious ones.
Paul, Molly and Isaiah 2Trip to India!
After a month of waiting on the Lord to lead, Paul is clear now that we will go as a family to India after the arrival of baby. We are looking to go October to December, and maybe even get to spend Christmas with all our sweethearts. I can’t wait to have this little one!! Due–Aug. 25th. Isaiah keeps me on my toes, so I am not as huge as I was with him. 🙂 Funny….
At immigration they said we are good to go…although there is a little error on his new residential card, so we were told to just show them his birth certificate coming back into the U.S. The only problem, though, is his birth certificate is blank–only reading, “male” as you don’t name your child in India until baptism. 🙂
Paul wants to bring Isaiah as a lap baby only….good luck, honey on the 14 hr flight with the little man! (this will be about half of the price of a full ticket–the taxes to carry a lap baby). We will have to rush a passport and visa for new baby…..we will follow 2 weeks later so baby unborn will be 6 weeks. We are trusting God to pave the way for our little clan.
Isaiah William’s little world is about to change (for the better). He’ll be adjusting to a new little person and many others getting my attention. Please pray for both babies and their safety as our place is far from child-proof with exposed rebar, 47 stone steps, no yard to play in, etc. 🙂 Paul’s baby sister who’s arranged married was last September is due in October, along with his younger brother’s wife! So it will be a home full of babies while we are there as culturally, the bride moves back in with her parents for help in the first 3 months. 🙂 I will pack some fun baby things for them they’ve never seen. And, of course Isaiah’s toys from you all will be a hit!! Thank you!
May we have sufficient time with girls to love on them and our staff, to teach and encourage them and go over budgets and things that have been a challenge by phone while in the states.
Paul has a deep burden to give tools to pastors, to help lay a better foundation for leaders all over our state. As we have learned Paul’s 7 years of training and seminary is the exception, his burden for truth taught in churches increases. He wants to reach at least 2,500 with the materials from VCL that he and his brothers have worked on translating. The expenses for these conferences will be great–reaching over $13,ooo as he sends teams, (including the 5 Americans coming with us), pays for poor pastors from rural villages to attend, advertises for the seminars, serves meals to all who attend and arms them up with materials. Please pray God puts together His ideal teams for this crucial time. Pray for His provision to fulfill this vision. May this be just the beginning of Paul’s dream to help pastors in need of more teaching and discipleship.
Presently, we are working on fencing off our miracle acres just outside our city. God has answered the cry of our heart and given a burden to a very special servant of God and dear friend of ours to come and scope it out, to see if this may be a possible project for His team who helps build for mission projects. May our friend, Chris have a wonderful 1st x trip to India and have success researching, may he get all the info he needs to bring back to AZ and share with his team. May the Lord’s will be done in this possible partnership for His glory. They do not start building until 85% of the funds are raised, but we know in the faith realm, this campus is already paid in full!! So we can’t wait to see what’s up His heavenly sleeves for His precious ones. May the time come quickly to start building!!
Come, Lord Jesus and flood this area with your Spirit, drawing the masses to Your truth who have never heard Your Name! Our land is at the opening of hundreds of villages where the powerful truths of the Gospel have yet to reach. God is giving our family a great burden for the thousands of unreached Hindus and Muslims in these villages. Pray with us over this land. May the Lord cover this place with His shed blood as we claim it for the Kingdom. May He increase faithful workers in this white harvest and equip us to reach these people with His message. May our work, our girl’s home be welcome also. May God grant our girls a heart for people as they grown in the nurture of the Lord.
Home Church and Church Plants
We have just opened a church office down the street from our church to help manage the needs of the ministry! We are excited about how God is growing the work. Please pray for sufficient time to work through issues at church and encourage believers, couples and families. With new persecution and struggle, we pray for practical solutions for problems our people are facing.
More New Born Babies
Check out this article, India is prospering, but it’s girls are dying from the Arizona Republic.
Only the Gospel can end this great evil of female infanticide… but as we hear of newborns being born who’s parents are planning on killing them, it is our desire to rescue them as God opens the door. There are many hurdles in the way when saving a new life. May the Lord direct our steps, may HE equip us for His calling, may we be faithful and hear His voice. We will keep you posted on new rescues.
Personal Prayer Requests~If you can join us in these requests, that will be a great encouragement.
God is one the move in India!!! It’s so exciting see Him at work- in our city.
Please pray the Lord Himself remains our first aim and desire. Pray our devotion for Him increases.
Please pray Paul and I will be one in all our decisions and on the stretches he will be out of the city with ministry, I am trusting God will help me in the chaos and the days/nights without power to look to Him to help me be supportive to Paul and the vision God has given him. I am keenly aware of the fact now that I must let go of all the “honey-do lists” I’ve made for Paul (and God), to help our place be more livable…that is not the goal for this trip and I trust God will teach me to embrace India in all of it’s frustrations and see the glory of God.
May the Lord also empower Paul with extra wisdom and leadership as he has teams to lead and all of us to balance. 🙂 We have had wonderful counsel on balance, it’s been very good for us, we are thankful.
Forgive me for the length, thanks to you precious few who made it this far!!!! It is the BEST day when we get to hear from you as we pray for you daily.
With so much love and thankfulness, to Him and to each of you–for your prayers, time and selfless gifts helping us reach God’s dream for us.
