It was Christmas morning.
The people of Paul and Molly's church, Harvest Bible Chapel were together for a Christmas breakfast and service. The family of God called happy greetings to one another as they enjoyed breakfast together.
Laughter filled the room. Smiles were everywhere.
Paul shared from the Word of God, exhorting the 520 believers and visitors alike with the Good News that Jesus came to earth to rescue us, His beloved.

Later that day, Paul, Molly and their 23 children (yep, you read that right!) to two different slums to offer gifts and birthday cake for Jesus.

With your help, they blessed hundreds of children, widows and poor with gifts and clothing.
Songs were sung. Skits were performed, bringing to life this strange but heart-stopping story of the Creator who took on human form and came to earth as a dirt-poor, helpless baby to rescue His beloved, lost children.

"Loving the poor is always a joy - but on this special holiday - surprising them was extra fun and something our children also took delight in," Molly reflected.
On Harvest Bible Chapel's caroling night, the church shared hundreds of gifts. Seventy new friends came to hear the good news for the first time!
We are trusting God for a rich harvest in the new year, that as He calls many to righteousness even through our feeble lips, there will be an outpouring of His grace causing a great host of worshipers here among us in India!
Please continue to pray to the Lord of the harvest along with us.
We give Him all the glory for the great things He has done this year!
We praise His Name for helping us take His truths to dark places and for allowing us to help hundreds of families in tangible ways through our ministries and in times of hardship such as November's flooding.
November: Flooding in Paul and Molly's City
In November, parts of Paul and Molly's city succumbed to thigh-deep water, displacing many poor and cutting them off from supplies needed for survival.
Paul and Molly's ministry includes a small corner store that stands ready to supply the poor when needed, and provides hope and help through employment to many widows in Paul's church.
This November, when the waters rose, Paul, Molly and their church were on-hand to make the plight of those the most defenseless against the waters - the poor - more bearable through the gift of food and supplies.
January Not to be Outdone by November and December
With November and December weighing in with such impactful ministry, January might find it a hard act to follow.
But Paul and Molly and their co-workers aren't about to let January be outdone.
Though it's early in the month, they have already had another big outreach, reaching over 100 of some of the most forgotten and marginalized people in Indian society.
The Word that Resounds Most in our Hearts is: Humbled.
Paul and Molly shared:
When we look back on the year the word that resounds most in our hearts is: humbled.
Humbled that the Son of God should look upon us and call us own. Humbled that He should fill our sinful hearts with Himself and allow us to be poured out for His precious Gospel.
Humbled by your loving support, your prayer allowing us to take His most wonderful Word to countless lives here in India.
Sending much love and thankfulness from our home to yours. Thank you for your burning heart for His Name and renown in the earth!
How worthy is our King! We love you and look forward to knowing Him more deeply in 2018!
