One time a young man came for my karate class. He was 21 years old, homeless, and previously addicted to drugs. He said, “I heard about this club and also about Bread of Life Foundation from my friend. But I don’t have any money. Would you like to help me?” David came regular for our coffee house program and therapy. God provide to him brand new tools and clothes. God provided to him a job in construction.
We are so happy because from nothing God makes something. David was without future but right now he has a job plans, dreams, and hope.
Praise to Jesus!
David’s Club Karate Tournament IV for Teenagers
Karate Tournament ParticipantsLast weekend in public school number 6 in Kalisz, Foundation Bread of life organized the fourth 
tournament in karate. Over 70 teenagers, from Kalisz, Szczytniki and Zbiersk came for the tournament. The youngest was five years old. For this tournament came president Jacek Konopka, and Governer of Poland, Adam Rogacki. This is a preventative tournament for our kids from David Club, part of a process where we give them good reasons and tools to say no to drugs and alcohol – and yes to Jesus. We have a lot o joy and happiness – and we showed the kids this can happen without drugs.
