Muhindo Kawede, Director of the International School of Missions, writes the following about an instance where ISM is already given the chance to be a blessing to their community with their new land:
“For he will deliver the needy who cry out, the afflicted who has no one to help.” -Psalm 72:12
I went to work on ISM’s farm yesterday from 7.00 am until 1.00pm. To my surprise, I found 400 primary school pupils fetching and carrying 20liters of water from our land. I interviewed one of the pupils why they are carrying water and they answered me that their school has no water and it imperative that each pupil must fetch and carry water from the ISM land before they allowed to enter class at 8am.
Naomi, my daughter, was moved and said to me that she feels compassionate to help these babies with the gospel and save them from carrying heavy cans of water without any breakfast.
