Last Saturday Child Evangelism Fellowship trained our leaders in the area of evangelism for gospel joy kids workshops. It was great time of eye opening and God’s leading as we prepare our staff and volunteers to serve at this new ministry. Two days later we went to city of Znin for the first kids workshops this year. We were invited by a local catholic priest, who already has hosted Gospel Joy twice with concerts and workshops.
Annual tradition in catholic Church in Poland is to do one week of religious activities for school kids during lent. This year the priest has invited us to teach gospel music to 700 (!!!) kids. When we arrived the priest told us: “I haven’t prepared any teaching for the kids. Please, teach them music and share your faith with them. The floor is yours.”
Baca, our Kids Gospel Joy and Gospel Joy leader, presented the gospel as she was trained just two days before. She said she saw the kids understand the message and open their eyes when she was talking about the “simplicity” of salvation through Christ (in comparison to works, religious activities, rules and regulations)
