15 Years of Christian Education
The school had the 15th Anniversary celebration on the 14th of February. It was a very wonderful moment of thanksgiving to God who has been very gracious in quickening the hearts of people to support the school and its activities.
Since 13th February, 1997 to date, the school has trained 760 students and 251 students were exempted from paying school fees because most of them were orphans and a few were from families which were underprivileged.
Presently, the school has 175 students and 48 children are not paying school fees because they are orphans. The Anniversary celebration went on well, there were there were 620 people in attendance.
The children presented songs, dances, sketches, and poems; all was glorifying the Name of the Lord.
We did all these things with the support from our partners; we thank them all for their support. May the Almighty God protect and bless the work of their hands.
Eugene Kalunga is the principal of Excellence Christian Academy. The school is carried by his vision and passion from the Spirit.
It is quite hard financially to support these children, but God has been faithful to provide for what He has called us to. We have the opportunity to minister and educate these children so that we may have a strong future generation, a generation which will fear God and serve Him and extend His Kingdom further.
We have many challenges – we have to finish building two classrooms and toilets; furniture is breaking down and we has to replace them.May the Lord richly bless you.
In His service,
