Waiting is hard. Waiting is tiring. Waiting requires trusting in God.This is how I would describe our life and ministry at the moment. For more than 2 years we have been in the process of reconstruction of our Community Center. The building we received from the city authorities, which we redesigned to serve Community Center was in a very bad shape. But…after many prayers and considerations we made a step toward this challenge. By faith – like Moses entering the Red See – we made our first steps. God was with us and He still is. He had provided step by step – funds, people, strength and vision.
With the help of many people and the sacrificial commitment of our local church, we have invested more than $300, 000. Unfortunately, we are not yet able to start out our ministry projects. We are waiting for another $30 000 to complete the first stage of our project (the total cost of everything is $1 million). But for now, we have to wait. All channels are closed and we are not moving forward unless God opens up next chapter.
Waiting is hard, and tiring. Since we would love to be in the Community Center, to serve the poor and the abandoned, to share love with the hopeless and helpless people in our city. Therefore, we keep trusting remaining obedient and continue waiting upon the Lord. Please, pray with us for the missing $30 000 in order to finish the first stage and open to public the Preschool ministry and meeting place for single moms. Pray that we will be able to begin new relations with the parents, to reach the poor in the surrounding area, and to saturate the neighborhood with love and hope.
There are a lot of other signs of God’s faithfulness and care in our life as well. We praise God for our daughter Paulina, who finally got a permanent job at a marketing company in Warsaw. We praise God for her engagement to Timothy, a great young man, who loves God and our daughter! We praise God for Philip and Luke as they continue their studies and make progress in their walk with Jesus. We praise God for the new discipleship opportunity Ania has with the four ladies, who just start attending to our church. We praise God for moving our church, for committed people, for new members at our church, for the new vision that He gave us.
Please keep us in your prayers as we wait for Gods provision for the Community Center. Pray for exciting plans we have for the upcoming summer and our “Transformations” Youth Camp. Pray with us that more people in our city of Lodz are reached and saved by His Grace.
Thank you for standing by, for walking with and praying for!!!!
With Love and appreciation,
