“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come.” – 2 Corinthians 5:17
Christopher Kasule is a young pastor who joined the International School of Missions four years ago. He is the founder of Righteous Assemble of Christ International Ministries. Through his Christ centered leadership; Pastor Christopher Ministry has touched and transformed many lives. Christopher has ably applied the biblical principles and knowledge gained from the International School of Missions to his ministry. Moses is one of the many youths whose life has been spiritually transformed from suicide to sainthood. The following is his full story.
My name is Moses Mutesarsira; I am an orphan who grew up with my grand mother. My parents died when I was still very young. I didn’t get a chance to see any of them. Grand mother earned her living through making and selling local brew popularly known as kill me quick. Before my father died, he left a will for us. His will was for me to be a Muslim, marry a Muslim, die a Muslim and be buried a Muslim. That was his only will. Father left us no property, nothing for us to fall back on.
At nine years of age, I was initiated in the religion of the Tablick and became a fanatical, radical Muslim. I was highly loved by the Tablick and due to my devotion to the religion, I was put in charge of teaching other kids. My grandmother pushed me until primary seven and stopped. She could no longer afford to pay for my secondary school education. I started fending for my self at a very early age. I left my grandmother in the village and went to live with my uncle at Bwaise, a city slum populated with prostitutes and pick-pockets. But in going to Bwaise, I jumped from the frying pan right to the furnace.
Life was very hard at Bwaise. The whole family slept in a small wooden house ten feet square. (Uncle, his wife, daughters, I and any visitors who would come by). We did not have beds let alone bedding. I started fetching water and doing some menial jobs as a means of earning some money to survive. Tragedy was added to tragedy when uncle divorced his wife. They both went their separate ways. I was left with no one to turn to or look up to.
Speeding Car pull quoteDistress, despair, dread and discouragement overtook me. Life was not worth living. I tried suicide by jumping into speeding car but driver avoided me and I did not die. But an innocent pedestrian lost her life. It was a substitutional death! One time mother luck smiled at me and I got employment as a house servant. But through the bad influence of other house boys in the neighborhood I turned to sex, theft and drugs. My boss could no longer tolerate my bad behavior. I was forced to leave his home. I went back to scavenge in the city slums.
The turning point in my life came when I heard Pastor Christopher Kasule preaching the gospel. I believed and became a Christian. Pastor Christopher Kasule did not abandon me but took me in his family. He has nurtured and mentored me more than any biological Dad would do. I am grateful to Pastor Kasule for showing me the true love of Christ. Pastor Christopher found me a very nice job, the Lord’s favor was on me. I worked tirelessly and I got promotion within five months of work. Through Pastor Kasule’s good teaching on tithing and financial management, I saved money and started my own small business, of garbage collection.
Kawede, Christopher Kasule and Moses.
God has blessed me abundantly. I thank God, the International School of Missions and Pastor Kasule for taking such good care of me my life will never be the same: to God be the glory! I who was an outcast in society has become a cause for rejoicing. My company now employs four other youths. These youths are growing spiritually as they apply the biblical principles I teach them.

Moses sharing Christ.
