Workers clearing the tall grass in preparation for digging the foundation.
Building in the Python’s Lair
It seems this area was a home of snakes. So far the workers killed four snakes before the Python showed up. That is how it is with our areas and we are used to such things. Before we posses the area, we have to bind the strong snake. God always protects us.
When the workers cut the grass, a very big snake, Python, about three and half meters long, came and sought who to catch. One of the workers saw the snake and alerted the friends. They picked the stones and stoned it. It quietly moved into the tall grass. The following day, the same snake came back, right where they were cutting the grass but they saw it quickly and they tried to stone it but it disappeared. Those workers did not report for work again for fear of the stubborn hungry snake.
I rushed to the site but never saw the snake. I had to employ other workers and I instructed them to burn the dry grass which was cut so that it would be very clear for them to see anything. They burned the grass where the building is going to be. The area is full of rocks and I had to buy bigger hammers, chisels and blast the stones. We just finished digging the foundation and all the building materials are ready for the builders to start building the church and community school.
The workers are clearing the area, to make the road to the sight and they should finish by Wednesday this week. Thursday this week, the builders will start building the church/community school. (in April 2012)
