Hello from the Evers,
How would you like to go on a 5 week adventure with Steve to Poland, Romania, South Africa and Zambia? You would be traveling by plane, train, car, boat, bus. You would get to visit with our dear friends and partners along the way as well as take a 14 hour drive to visit with a group of people that are hearing about Jesus for the first time.
You would get to sleep out in tents, cross crocodile infested waters, drive on roads that are shared with trucks and cars and ox-drawn carts, get to love on people, share Jesus, and see what God is doing through dear people like you.

Well, if you are interested…Steve is leaving Phoenix on Sunday, July 22, and returning on Tuesday, August 29.
Along the way, he will meet up with our accountant, Mark Burritt, who will travel with Steve to S.Africa and Zambia. Later in the trip, our dear Pastor friend, Phil McKeown and his Youth Pastor, John Ostrus, will meet up with Steve in Zambia to look at possible mission opportunities for their church next year.
This is a rough map of Steve’s destinations as the crow flies (not at all accurately representing his routes to those destinations) through this 5 week adventure. The route starts on the left coming from America.
This will be a “packed full” time of travel. So many details to work out. So many decisions to make on “what needs to go” and “what can touch people’s lives.”
Containers to pack, connections to make…could all be a little over-whelming. That’s when you have to step back and ask God, “what do You want to do on this trip… what people are we to touch, and what do You want to accomplish?”
Excitement, concerns, lots of deep breaths, and total trust for God’s guidance and protection as Steve prepares to leave.
Would you be willing to “pray him through” this trip as so many have done in the past? We know that your faithfulness in your love and support and prayers for us is the only way for this adventure to be all that God wants for it to be.
