From Darlene Evers:
I spoke with Steve twice yesterday! What a treat! He’s good, in Zambia. Starting traveling by vehicle to Lukulu West. This will take a couple days traveling. Last call they had stopped for the nite and were in a hotel in a small town.
I received an email from him just a few minutes ago, they have arrived in Lukulu East and are waiting for a small vehicle barge to take them across the river. He says:”We have finally arrived in Lukulu East. It took 5+ hours and 120+ miles(2nd day) on a dirt road. I can’t tell you what 120 miles of really rough roads is like…I am totally shook up inside like a milkshake. I am truly in the middle of no where…possibly more undeveloped than Mundri, Sudan we go to, and I’m still on the developed side of the river!”

Please pray for him this week. I can only imagine that he has to be tired, so pray for his physical, emotional, mental and spiritual strength. He says there will probably be no more communication with him until the end of the week.
Thank you for all your encouragement and prayers.
Darlene
