September 10, 2012
Well, I wonder where is it? Certainly not here, in the part of the globe presently called Poland.
Behind each and every person standing so expectantly in wait for their immersion yesterday, on Sunday, September 9th, 2012, there is a battle won and there are struggles still to be faced.
Let me just say, that one of the Sisters in this neat line said,
We all know that baptism is just a beginning. As all of us, they are called to be Christ’s disciples. Please, let them be part of your prayers.
But let’s go back to Job for a moment.
Reading through the notes I took while at his place, I noticed that he struggled with understanding why he didn’t get what he seemed to deserve. I wished I could invite him to our times and to our world. Maybe he would not find the answer, but definitely he would find how many people have hard time understanding the same thing. I say, hard time, until they stand before the Cross, where all questions die. And where everything becomes crystal clear.
Yours, as ever –
(Humbly at Nehemiah 5.)
