During this season of giving, we asked ITMI partners to give you their heartfelt answers to several questions. These are from Leszek and Ania Wakula. May their answers bless and encourage you!
The best, most impactful book I read in this year was...
Building Healthy Churches - The Gospel by Ray Ortlund. It was so refreshing and inspiring in the midst of some tough ministry moments.
The thing I am most thankful for this year is...
The wonderful experience of witnessing to Jack, the homeless man I talked to last Christmas Eve and throughout the year. I have seen his life being changed by the power of the Gospel.
He is a new man in Christ and such encouragement to reach out to the lost God brings across our lives. Jack continues to grow in His grace and power!!!
Something I heard or learned this year that stopped me in my tracks and changed my outlook was…
I am in awe, pondering upon the powerful thought: we should love our wife with out any expectations in return. Love unconditionally and expect...less.
This has changed our family/marriage life in a very significant way. God is good to us, husbands!!!
What is one way your ITMI supporters directly made an impact for God's Kingdom this year?
We are deeply appreciative for a faithful ministry of Elaine Meredith and Jeanne Pierzchala, who have come to Poland for last 2 years and served women in difficult situations.
This is a great support in ministry of Ania, as she serves many women in our country.
Thank you, all, for your support!
About the Wakulas

By Adept
Leszek Wakula is the pastor of the only Baptist church in Lodz, Poland. He and his wife, Anna, lead their congregation in building relationships that reach people for Christ. This includes a youth ministry, an education center and care for the elderly, earning their church a reputation for their depth of care and willingness to go where no one else is willing in the name of Jesus.
