During this season of giving, we asked ITMI partners to give you their heartfelt answers to several questions. These are from the Kellers. May their answers bless and encourage you!
The best, most impactful book I read this year was...
Mansions of the Heart by R. Thomas Ashbrook. It helped me understand how God orchestrates all the circumstances in our life, both good and bad, to draw us closer to Himself.
It also gave me a lot of insight into what it means to be still and trust God. This is significant to me because we can’t always see what God is doing “in the moment” but we can trust that He is there and He is actively working for the good of His kingdom.
The thing I’m most thankful for this year is...
God’s restoration in my health and that God is continuing to give me strength to do His will. I am also grateful for His preservation of the health of each person in our family.
This is no small feat of grace and mercy in Africa!
We are incredibly thankful for and excited to see the dynamic changes that are taking place in the lives of the police men and women with whom we are sharing God’s Word.
The ways I’ve grown over the past year are…
I’ve been learning what it means to abide in God’s presence and to see the outcome of the fruit based on that. Also to be grateful in all circumstances and to see God’s goodness and His faithfulness in both the good and the bad.
What is one way ITMI supporters directly made an impact for God’s Kingdom this year?
This year, Ascension Lutheran and ITMI put together a Bible project through which we have been able to impact hundreds of people for Christ with the Word of God (and we are still distributing Bibles!!).
Bibles for new Christians, Study Bibles for pastors and church leaders - I can’t begin to express what effect the Word of God has on churches and communities.
Thank you for making this work possible.
