Moldova
The poor in Moldova struggle each day for food, clean water, medical care and housing.
I have a passion for Moldova. My heart always goes out to the poor. There are poor people in this world and then there are poor people in this world.
Some poor people drive old, used cars. In Moldova, some poor people, if they are lucky, drive with a wooden cart pulled by a donkey.

A special project was launched this year by Bread of Life to help sustain several families through this pandemic with hope and food.
We bought 500 ducks to distribute to the poorest of the poor this last May 2020. Twenty-five families were identified and given 20 ducks each. Knowing that these ducks will grow and provide a necessary food source when needed.

I talked with our partners in Moldova this past week, Pastor Ruslan and Larissa Telpiz.
They shared with me that this past year Moldova experienced a drought. "The harvest is very slim," he said, "and many people are suffering." He shared that these twenty five families that received the ducks are in a better position than most.
"After extreme drought and loss of crops, these ducks will help our villagers make it through winter," he said.
Even with a failing crop they had ducks to fall back on to make it through.

Thank you again for the prayers and financial gifts. Your generosity provides the physical food and spiritual food for sustainment.
