The Cost of Contaminated Drinking Water
Donate to the Clean Safe Water Project
$5,445 funds a well for an entire village.
PREVENT DISEASE
Drinking contaminated water can transmit diseases such as diarrhea, cholera, dysentery, typhoid, and polio and is estimated to cause 502,000 diarrheal deaths each year. (2)
IMPROVE NUTRITION
With accessible water, villagers can grow vegetables and drastically improve their nutrition.
MAKE LIFE BETTER
The United Nations estimates that Sub-Saharan Africa alone loses 40 billion hours per year collecting water; the same as an entire year's labor in all of France!
OUR EXPERIENCE
In Touch Mission International has been working in Africa for 35 years. We have long-standing relationships with godly, local leaders who understand the needs and speak the language.
OUR RESULTS
Through our clean water project, we have provided 16 villages with drinkable water...and counting!
OUR PURPOSE
When our wells are installed in a village, we use this free gift to explain salvation. Our partner, Johan, and his team of trained Zambian evangelists are based nearby and visit frequently to provide continued Biblical teaching, disciple believers and raise up leaders, with the goal of planting a church.
