ITMI's Daniel Machlowski met Lucas at a Word Zone outreach over a year ago.
Word Zone is the follow up gathering offered at Gospel Joy Workshops for those who are interested in finding out more about the relationship with Jesus they've heard and sung about during the workshop.
Daniel and Lucas became friends and regularly spent time together over the last year. And you can't be Daniel's friend without being discipled. He's wholeheartedly pursuing Jesus and he'll bring you along at whatever pace you'll come. Usually if you're willing to be his friend, it's because the Holy Spirit is already stirring up a longing for Jesus in your life.

Lucas introduced Daniel to Patrick, whose only personal goal at the time was to learn English. Patrick felt he had lost out on several opportunities in life and sees English as an opportunity to do something more with himself. Daniel serves others by teaching an English class, so he followed up with Patrick and met with him one-on-one.
The relationship developed through English learning and spending time together, until Daniel had the opportunity to share his own story, which very naturally includes the Good News.
Patrick had some questions for Daniel.
"How can sins be forgiven? How do you pray?" Daniel answered his questions. They met again for English lessons the following week, and Daniel again shared the Gospel with Patrick.
Patrick told Daniel he agreed with everything Daniel had shared.
Daniel says,
"I asked if he wanted to admit to God that he is a sinner and wants to trust Jesus. He asked 'How does such a prayer look like?' I encouraged him to use his own words, I prayed for him, and then he prayed to receive Christ! I met with him two days later and asked if he understood his salvation and he said yes. We are now meeting regularly doing discipleship lessons and he is really growing in this time."
Patrick's discipleship continues to move him further into the life of a believer. He is ready to share Christ with his family, and also joined Daniel's men's group, which is up to 5 members now, 3 of which are still seeking but not yet saved.
God is Doing Something Very Cool in Poland

Daniel started his last newsletter this way, "Right off the bat I would please ask that you pray for wisdom and protection in this time because God is starting to do something huge with discipleship!" Daniel knows he needs the support of God's people.
