Poland
Bread of Life was founded by ITMI's Richard and Brooke Nungesser to reach the homeless and forgotten in Poland with the love of Jesus.
Bread of Life serves in many cities across Poland, as well as Moldova, Ivory Coast, Zimbabwe and Pakistan.
Bread of Life's programs provide the opportunity for Christians be equipped to love and serve the needy in Jesus' name and for not-yet-believers to draw near and serve alongside believers, all the while learning about who Jesus is and why His life motivates them to serve sacrificially.
The New Life Center
One of these programs is The New Life Center, a home for men who want to overcome their struggles with addictions.
The center has helped many men find the Lord and overcome the power of addictions, returning to productive members of society and reconciling with their families.
The purchase of this center and these ongoing programs are possible through your support of Bread of Life.
Now, it's making room for Ukrainian refugees.
A beautiful space welcomes refugees at the New Life Center.

ITMI's Brooke Nungesser reports:
Sixteen people have arrived at the NLC. Six of them children ages 2-11 years old. One woman in her last trimester of pregnancy.
The journey was absolutely harrowing.
Thank you for living, walking, giving, praying this journey with our team as we continue to find homes, shelter, food, safety for all in need!

As you'll see, Bread of Life is doing so much more than just offering a place to stay.
One of the refugees turned 7 just after arriving at the New Life Center.
Although everyone is beyond busy with all the work required to help the 2 million and counting refugees arriving in Poland, having left everything behind, the Nungessers and their team weren't too busy to set up a celebration for her.
Brooke writes,
This is Liza. Liza arrived from Ukraine just a little over a week ago. Her life has been turned inside out and upside down …
And yet - at the New Life Center - Liza had her 7th birthday!!!!
There was a party. There was cake. There was celebration of Liza!!!!
Sweet, sweet Liza! Know that we pray for you. We stand with you. We have hope for you. And we believe in your future.
May you have a very happy birthday!
May peace fill your spirit.
May joy fill your heart.
We celebrate you, precious Liza!
Happy happy birthday!!!
In the room of the New Life Center that normally holds all of the tables for dining, volunteers from the village where the New Life Center is located, Dluga Goslina, are teaching the refugees Polish, so that they can communicate in the language of their host country.
Tomek Jezyk - Bread of Life Kalisz
One of the cities in Poland where Bread of Life works is Kalisz.
As the Director of Bread of Life's Kalisz branch and the pastor of a local Baptist church, ITMI's Tomek Jezyk has partnered with a local mall that has agreed to provide space for a large charity distribution space.
When the center opens, Ukrainian refugees will be able to come and find what they need, including work.
"We would like to employ Ukrainian brothers," Tomek writes.
Tomek and Bread of Life volunteers have been working constantly to organize and prepare the donations.
