Trying everything he can think of to build relationships with the locals of Onseepkans, South Africa where his family and mission are located, ITMI’s Gerhard le Roux takes food and supplies to a goat herders’ outpost about 2 miles away from the remote Onseepkans Mission. Two goat herders, Johanes and Jokobus..
Why I Let My Daughter Chat With A Human Trafficker
I watched as my five-year-old innocently chatted with an older man that could only be described as creepy – to anyone but a five-year-old. It was a peaceful afternoon. We were at the market. The colorful produce of Africa surrounded us. The sun glinted off her hair, immortalizing the moment and her childlike beauty. She happily chatted with him. I don’t remember what she was talking about because inside my head, a voice was screaming, “NO!!!”
Blessings
Do you want God’s blessings in your life? I am pretty sure that all of us would respond with a resounding YES!!!!!! If so, then what do God’s blessings look like? Are they material or physical? Temporal or eternal? Lasting or fading? A lot of times God has blessed us and we don’t even realize […]
Beautiful Feet
“Good news!” was all the young boy could manage between breaths. The women, most balancing heavy jugs of water on their heads while carrying one in each hand, kept walking toward their village just a few steps ahead. They moved only their eyes toward the boy, who again heralded breathlessly, “Good news!”

How Does a Christian Man Make a Difference?
I’ll never forget a young man who came for an interview with our ministry. I could see this boy needed help and direction in life. He was very excited about working full-time with us. I asked him to please discuss the opportunity, and procure the support of his local church pastor before he joined us.
Steve’s Photo Tour of Zulu Land, South Africa
The dirt road leading to 7 Rivers Farm, which is Kelly and Cherise Smith’s property, is long and dusty. You can begin to see the dryness of winter in the area, which we’ll see more of later. This road crosses the wayward and windy river 7 times before we’ll arrive at the farm. Zulu land is about a 20 minute drive from the outskirts of the beautiful ocean resort city of Durban, South Africa. As you’ll see, the difference 20 minutes makes is night and day!

Bikes and Bibles
Many pastors and evangelists in the Democratic Republic of Congo are deeply appreciative of the Bibles and bikes they have received. As a believer you know the unmistakable truth and strength of God’s Word, and the importance of putting it into the hands of as many people as possible.
A Five Week Adventure
How would you like to go on a 5 week adventure with Steve to Poland, Romania, South Africa and Zambia? You would be traveling by plane, train, car, boat, bus. You would get to visit with our dear friends and partners along the way as well as take a 14 hour drive to visit with a group of people that are hearing about Jesus for the first time. You would get to sleep out in tents, cross crocodile infested waters, drive on roads that are shared with trucks and cars and ox-drawn carts, get to love on people, share Jesus, and see what God is doing through dear people like you.
