Last month Gospel Joy Workshops and Evangelism held its 13th annual gospel music workshops in Poznan. There were 400 participants and 1000 people in audience showed up! Glory to God!
Fifteen to twenty youth sat cross-legged on the floor of a Polish home on a Friday night. Most leaned back on whatever was behind them. A wall, a furnace, a futon. They gathered to pray, worship, learn God’s story and fellowship.

Two or three years ago, Ania and Leszek shifted the heart of their ministry from program-oriented to be discipleship-oriented. They began investing in people around them, sharing Jesus through relationships. Life-on-life evangelism is simple, organic way of sharing Jesus that has been shown quite fruitful in Poland. Both Leszek and Ania have been doing this for 2-3 years, and now they are beginning to see the fruit!
Five children marched around a wooden poll, their hands forming make-shift horns on their mouths. About 55 other children watched the 5 in front of them. After completing 7 times around the poll, the 5 children ran out the door. Laughing, they collapsed into the grass as the spectators laughed gleefully with them.
Eugene’s passion for teaching children led to other children in the area joining their studies, until 50 children were being homeschooled out of Eugene’s tiny home!
Brooke took one last look at the curb, and saw the backs of two of the children who were hoping for a ride to Bible Club but couldn’t fit in her small van. They were already leaving.
ITMI’s Daniel Machlowski met Lucas at a Word Zone outreach over a year ago. Daniel and Lucas became friends and regularly spent time together over the last year.
As we go to press, we received news of our water well project in Western Zambia going to a new level. We are working out the details with a long time ministry friend, introduced to ITMI by our own Timothy Keller, who has a focused and intentional ministry to evangelizing the Zambian people that live west of the Zambezi River.
