Last month Gospel Joy Workshops and Evangelism held its 13th annual gospel music workshops in Poznan.
There were 400 participants and 1000 people in audience showed up! Glory to God!
The most recent workshop in Poznan hosted 400 participants!
There's a workshop for kids, too!
This is incredible because most people in Poland fear and avoid contact with anyone outside the State Church. Historically, outreach events are virtually ghost towns.
Of course our partners have had great results reaching the socially marginalized in Poland, but reaching an everyday, mainstream Pole requires special creativity.
"If they are part of the State Church, why do they need to be reached?”
For whatever reason, a large number of Poles have not heard that Jesus is interested in a personal relationship with them. It's completely unheard of and shocking for many to learn that He loves them and pursues them.
But once they are able to accept this paradigm shift, so many are amazed and passionate about responding to Jesus!
ITMI partner, and Director of Gospel Joy, Andrew Gorski, did an public altar call on Saturday night during the final concert at the end of the workshop. Forty people responded!
Final concert to end the workshop in Poznan, Poland. Family and friends of participants come for the show!
After the workshops, Gospel Joy offers an evangelistic course where people can ask questions and learn more, called “Alpha Course."
Andrew says, "30 people came to learn, ask questions, grow and serve! Glory to God!"
Learning more about a relationship with Jesus at Alpha Course.
This is a ministry that is really reaching and changing people! Praise God!
If you want to be a part of this dynamic and effective ministry directly, we have a special need to present to you.
ITMI partners, Andrew and Ania Gorski shared two personal prayer needs:
- Pray for Ania's father. "Ana’s father is still with us. He’s got bad cancer in his lungs. We’re praying God will use the suffering in a good way. Thank you for praying! Please, continue," Andrew says.
- Support Ania and Andrew financially. You can read about 5 ways supporting them would make a big impact here. Andrew recently said, "Ana and I are still short on our monthly support. Please consider joining forces and supporting this work on monthly basis."
