One of African believers’ greatest needs is discipleship. Without quality equipping and teaching, they can fall into adding Jesus’ name to their old ancestral worship patterns. Many get saved, but never have the opportunity to go any deeper – to find out what they’ve been saved into. That’s the mission and passion of Tim and […]
I watched as my five-year-old innocently chatted with an older man that could only be described as creepy – to anyone but a five-year-old. It was a peaceful afternoon. We were at the market. The colorful produce of Africa surrounded us. The sun glinted off her hair, immortalizing the moment and her childlike beauty. She happily chatted with him. I don’t remember what she was talking about because inside my head, a voice was screaming, “NO!!!”
“Good news!” was all the young boy could manage between breaths. The women, most balancing heavy jugs of water on their heads while carrying one in each hand, kept walking toward their village just a few steps ahead. They moved only their eyes toward the boy, who again heralded breathlessly, “Good news!”

Monday 7am Kabwe, Zambia. Sun through windowI’m sitting here on the floor in my room with the sun shining through the clouds into my window. Over the first few months of the year […]

Her third child would have been Anna’s age. How she would have loved to teach her daughter to read and write, just as she loved teaching these children. She couldn’t help but wonder, if even just one of her children had survived, would her husband – who …
God often works in strange ways. Recently I’ve become reconnected with the area that gave me my start in Zambia over ten years ago (as well as my first and second bouts of malaria- good times). Back in 2000 I did a lot of discipleship and child evangelism training at Covenant College in Petauke. Since […]
Dear Friends and Family, The last several months have been very busy for our family. I had several really incredible field trips as well as a greatly increased number of ministry opportunities right here in Kabwe (which is a welcome break in between long journeys into the bush!) We’ve received so many encouraging letters and […]
It all began with Timothy and Ashley Keller.
God’s gracious provision for their medical needs has allowed their family to receive the treatment they need to enable their return to ministry in Kabwe, Zambia with full energy and health. Somewhere in their African travels, they picked up some metal poisoning that was affecting their whole family’s health and ability to minister.
