In this video, you'll get a glimpse of what it's really like for believers in Eastern Europe as they host Ukrainian refugees, and how hosting them continually opens up doors for reaching them with the Good News and encouraging them toward Jesus!
The church pastored by ITMI's Piotr Zaremba is called the K5N Church. K5N has partnered with ITMI's Bread of Life, founded by ITMI's Richard and Brooke Nungesser and Emmanuel Church, (another local church) to host and serve Ukrainian refugees.
Emmanuel Evangelical Church was founded by Darek Cieslak. Darek previously functioned as an assistant pastor under Piotr Zaremba. However, when the Covid restrictions closed the community center that K5N church rented on Sunday mornings, K5N couldn’t find a replacement location large enough for those attending.
So Darek very amiably, and with Piotr’s full blessing, took a group of K5N members and founded Emmanuel Evangelical Church in a different part of Poznan.
You'll also see ITMI's Jim LaRose, a member of Piotr's church, in action as he uses his gifts for teaching and reaching children to bless and reach Ukrainian children who were forced to leave their homes and everything familiar to them.
