We’ve often had parents of young children ask our advice or attend the Parenting Seminar we lead wanting to have the “key” to raising godly children, and we’ve emphasized the importance of…

“We give you 30 days. You must choose between your Christ and your career.” – Remembering Dr. Nick Gheorghita
“We give you 30 days. You must choose between your Christ and your career.” His response: “I don’t need 30 days, or 30 hours or 30 seconds. …”
How I Meet the Challenges of Missionary Travel
After six of the last eight plus weeks being either in southern Africa or in Eastern Europe, my body’s internal clock has pretty much gone haywire. For the whole week that I have been home my body has insisted on transitioning from deep sleep to wide awake at anywhere from 2:15 am to 3:35 am. Driving to the ITMI office at our normal starting time mentally feels like I’m arriving in the mid-afternoon, due to my work day starting 5-6 hours before.

A Mistake Turned Blessing
Have you ever had a mistake turn into a blessing? We have.

She and Mihai were there for a diagnosis of their relationship. Ana knew the Bans wrote and published a book on marriage – she assumed they were a picture of perfection. Ana observed Ema’s preparatory interactions with her three sons and her response to her husband, and was relieved to find…
Discipling the Children and Those Who Lead Them
Then one day this letter came from our dear friends whom we knew were expecting a baby in mid-December. I opened it with the expectation of seeing a picture entitled, “Our baby’s first Christmas”. Eduard and Tommy were with me in the room, so they were waiting for the same thing. Inside there was a picture of them, but not with a baby.
The Rewarding Fruit
Floradena adjusted to her new home at ITMI’s Casa Dorca Orphanage in Prilipet, Romania more easily than some.It helped to have her two brothers there. The threesome had seen more fighting, and screaming between their now divorced parents than anyone wanted to think about. Despite her tumultuous and insecure early life, she had a peace about her that the other children needed and gravitated toward, so she made friends quickly.
