ITMI’s Jahim Buli shares the following with us as he continues to see God’s hand of leading and provision as the new church ministers in the stressed and overwhelmed country.
God’s Unique Camouflage
Last month on our trip to Zambia, God clearly showed He is still providing and caring for His faithful even today, even in Africa, even against all earthly logic.
A Life Changing Trip
ITMI partner, Gerhard le Roux, serving in Onseepkans, South Africa shared this story. Gerhard had the opportunity to bless, invest in and build a relationship with a local Christian leader in a neighboring town, Pofadder. Gerhard shares how Manie’s worldview and understanding of Christian living was expanded through experiencing Christians from other parts of Africa and the world. Enjoy Gerhard’s story!
Praying for Parents
Ten-year-old Ayasha had been through a lot in her single decade of life. Her parents were both taken from her by the sweeping epidemic ripping its way through the Zulu people of Zulu Natal, South Africa. After her mother passed away, she’d gone to live with her grandmother. A widow responsible for 7 other children, Ayasha’s cousins and siblings, her grandmother was having a hard time feeding them all.
That’ll Be One Bible Verse, Please
ITMI’s Timothy Keller, veteran in ministry all over Africa, aptly pointed out, “How do you help those with the greatest need in a community where everyone has little to nothing? Helping the poor in the third world has to be done very carefully….”
What Happened When an ITMI Partner Invited Trespassing Vandals to Come Back Next Week
Gerhard le Roux surveyed the down cast eyes of the trespassers and the police who had been called to the situation.
He realized the hopelessness of the situation.
Keeping Company with God’s Saints
Dr. Nick was a brilliant doctor serving the medical community in a vital position and well known internationally. The communist authorities had grudgingly tolerated his Christian activity, but when he resigned his practice to pastor a Baptist Church, serious problems began.

As we go to press, we received news of our water well project in Western Zambia going to a new level. We are working out the details with a long time ministry friend, introduced to ITMI by our own Timothy Keller, who has a focused and intentional ministry to evangelizing the Zambian people that live west of the Zambezi River.
5 Unexpected Things Happened Under a Blue Tarp

“The God of the Old Testament and the God of the New Testament are two different Gods.”
“God’s main mission is for His people to prosper, and you can purchase this benefit through financial contributions to organizations bearing “Christian” in the name, particularly mine.”
These are the heresies that African pastors claiming to represent Jesus often proclaim. To make things worse…
Skyrocketing Prices Halt Construction in South Sudan
South Sudan’s economy is in shambles. The fledgling country never anticipated oil prices to drop to its current level. They also didn’t anticipate the impact that the internal civil war would have on their baby economy. With no dollars to buy and import every needed commodity, the cost of everything is exploding upward daily. Jahim Buli sends his deepest apologies for…
