Piotr has a passion to reach all the approximately 60 million Polish speaking people in the world. The first step was to get them an accurate, readable and usable form of God’s word.
As happy as he is with the success and acceptance of his new translation, Piotr says, “…but I am greedy. I want more.” Anyone that knows Piotr knows how unlike him it is for the word “greedy” to come out of his gentle, soft-spoken mouth.
Who can you trust now days? The news stations with regularity manipulate headlines, both conservative and liberal stations, to get us to watch their brand with over-charged and exaggerated statements that almost always more closely resemble their flavor of truth than real unbiased reality.
God has been very busy in our corner of the world!First, the summer of 2016 saw the publication of the entire Bible in the new translation. ‘Nuff said! We’d been working on this project for the past 16 years. When the time came to send the files to the publisher, we were both incredibly excited and unbelievably nervous. This was the moment of truth!

A most heartwarming story of personal initiative comes from ITMI missionaries Richard and Brooke Nungesser based in Poznan – Poland’s second largest city. Their primary work is evangelizing by teaching English as a second language. But they didn’t stop there.
“I was very religious,” says Daria Przybyla, “but at the same time as a teenager, I was suicidal and depressed.”

Rev. Piotr (Peter) Zaremba (40) is senior pastor of the First Baptist Church in Poznan, Poland. It is the fastest growing congregation in the country. In addition, he deacons, a school for English language, and an International Church for English-speaking people. Other ministries include a charity fund, youth camps, and providing Christian literature for Christians and non-Christians.
