Ana followed her fiance, Mihai, up to the stoop of ITMI’s Adrain – Adi as they knew him – and Ema Ban’s home in Oradea, Romania. As the couple welcomed them in with smiles, Ana immediately felt safe and warm. She fidgeted nervously with her fingers, hair and anything else she could find. She and Mihai were there for a diagnosis of their relationship. Ana knew the Bans wrote and published a book on marriage – she assumed they were a picture of perfection. Ana observed Ema’s preparatory interactions with her three sons and her response to her husband, and was relieved to find…
An ITMI Partner Fights Some Baboons: Highlights from Africa Travel
Gerhard le Roux stood at his front fence with his shot gun firing on a group of baboons on a mission to pick off some of Gerhard’s beloved little goats. Yes, baboons. He was unsuccessful the first two rounds, but round three went to… Gerhard! Goats: safe! That’s just a little taste of the odd […]
A Five Week Adventure
How would you like to go on a 5 week adventure with Steve to Poland, Romania, South Africa and Zambia? You would be traveling by plane, train, car, boat, bus. You would get to visit with our dear friends and partners along the way as well as take a 14 hour drive to visit with a group of people that are hearing about Jesus for the first time. You would get to sleep out in tents, cross crocodile infested waters, drive on roads that are shared with trucks and cars and ox-drawn carts, get to love on people, share Jesus, and see what God is doing through dear people like you.
